SEMH HLTA
This SEMH School is looking for someone who has had at least 1 years' experience in a similar role and setting. For this SEMH HLTA role you will be required to support in a small class of 8 students who will have some form of Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs and some of the students will have mild Autism. During the day you will be helping these students in and out of the classroom with their studies and during break times. There will be occasions when the class teacher will be absent from the lessons due to meetings and you will be required to take over and deliver a pre-planned lesson. Due to the students needs and the requirements for this role, the ideal SEMH HLTA will need to have strong behaviour management and confidence to stand at the front of the class and when teaching.

This SEMH School in located in Tooting in the London borough of Wandsworth and caters for boys aged between 4-19 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. They currently have 130 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2019, they were reviewed as 'GOOD' in all areas.
