School COVID Tester / Assistant
URGENT VACANCIES Covid 19 - Lateral Flow Testers needed ASAP
Secondary Schools in Kendal and Lancaster
Veritas are currently working with a number of schools in the area who require support for Covid 19 Lateral Flow Testing. Training and PPE equipment will be provided.
Roles:
Test Assistant - Provides guidance and supervision on swabbing as requested - collects swabs and passes them to processing operatives
Processing Operative - Prepares test samples for analysis, conducts processing and interprets results
Registration Assistant - Responsible for ensuring subjects have registered and distributing test kits on arrival. Ensures orderly entry of subjects onto the testing site.
Results Recorder - Collates results from processing operatives and uploads to digital solutions.You will be required to supervise students performing their swab test and ensure they are doing it correctly. Tests will be carried out daily to try and minimise the spread of Covid 19.
This positions will start in the New Year when schools reopen.
You will need a valid DBS check and be fit and healthy, this position would not be suitable for anyone with any underlying health issues. The school are particularly interested in meeting those with a care worker/ school background i.e support worker, supply teachers, TA's etc. Experience managing ages 11-16 is key! This role would also be ideal for candidate with science/ medical degrees looking to gain work experience.
