Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for Qualified & Experienced Kitchen/ Catering Assistants to cover Temporary / Ongoing assignments for their clients Schools located around the South West London area.
Monday to Friday (Term times only) 11am - 2.30pm Payrate - £10-12 Per hour.
Duties:
- Supporting chefs in a specific work section.
- Washing, peeling and preparing food items.
- Using a variety of kitchen equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters.
- Unloading deliveries.
- Organising the storeroom.
- Washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls.
The ideal candidate will -
- Be flexible with working hours
- Be willing and able to travel within London
- Be self-motivated
- Have a valid Enhanced DBS Check
- Have Food Hygiene Level 2
- Have previous work experience as a Kitchen Assistant (having worked in a Secondary school would be a bonus)
Prospero Teaching offers a variety of shifts including morning shifts so if you are looking for flexibility then being agency staff will suit you perfectly!
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional references
