Qualified Social Worker - 'CWD' Children with Disabilities

Due to our client based near the sea side who are actively trying to reduce case loads across the service, a vacancy has become available in the Children with Disabilities team.

Ensuring that people get the personalised care they need and additionally will create a better work life balances for the social workers.

Your responsibilities in the role:

Case holding responsibility for Cared for Children
Assessments for children with child protection concerns
Working alongside the Fostering Team whilst remaining part of the Children with Disabilities Team
Supervision of foster carers

You will receive high quality, monthly reflective supervision and professional development as you progress into the role. There are regular team meetings and development opportunities as well as opportunities for career progression.

My Client is looking for someone to start ASAP meaning you could be in your next role in no time, I can get feedback within an hour meaning you could be having an interview same day you apply.

This position is for someone who is looking to contribute to the development of children services. You will be joining a team that has an excellent working relationship with the early intervention service. This means you will have a supportive management system there to help with any issues you may come across.

As a social workers will have access to resources within the authority this enables the social workers to have more time to complete there assessments allowing you more time to focus on other cases.
