Customer Collections Advisor - Banking
Interaction Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a dynamic and exciting well-established business and recognisable named business based in Coventry. You will receive a 6 weeks in-house training in the use of the companys computer systems, which will enable you to help customers with their banking enquiries.
The chosen candidates MUST be able to pass pre-employment screening and security vetting.
Customer Collections Advisor Key Responsibilities:
Researches and responds to customer requests via mail, email, fax and other means pertaining to cardholder/corporate accounts and ensures compliance with client, regulatory, and Association rules and regulations.
Utilizes extensive knowledge of banking products and services to research, update and document cardholder accounts.
Recognizes potential fraud, credit, collection and chargeback issues and forwards them to the appropriate department.
Inbound and outbound telephone calls with Credit Card customers to identify customer circumstances; agree customer outcomes and solutions including taking payments, making payment plans, referring to a Debt Management Company or other
Adhere to rehabilitation and collections tools within criteria levels of authority
Collate, update and maintain internal collections systems and customer databases
Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are upheld and customer notes updated
Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIS) in line with Service Level Agreements including quality standards.
Customer Collections Advisor Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Previous experience in financial services is preferable but not essential
Exceptional levels of customer service is essential
You must be able to empathise with the client and be understanding of their current situation
You must be resilient, adaptable and able to work in a busy and dynamic environment
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Sunday between 8am to 8pm
Salary: £18,200 - £19,300
40 hours per week
