Associate Director / Director Building Surveyor
The Company
Joshua Robert Recruitment have a unique opportunity for an ambitious Building Surveyor to join a highly successful, leading Worcestershire property consultancy, who manage a large commercial portfolio. The organisation has strategically placed offices covering Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands region, they pride themselves on our reputation, local knowledge and customer service.
There is now an opening for a motivated Building Surveyor to drive forward ongoing projects, at Associate Director level, on offer is a clear route to equity partnership. This individual will be working closely with the senior management team, allowing full autonomy whilst looking to grow and develop the portfolio, with the goal of setting up and running a standalone department.
The Role
The Building Surveying team covers:
Building surveys (for commercial and residential properties)
Schedules of condition and dilapidations reports
Planned maintenance schedules
Advice on new office/warehouse fit out
Advice on possible refurbishment schemes
Costings for commercial development
Project managementWith a strong existing fee line, the focus of this role will be on delivery. This role could then develop into a senior position where you could be looking to strategically grow and develop the department; looking at new business development etc.
The Candidate
To be considered, you will be a Chartered Building Surveyor with commercial experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
