Rapidly growing and highly respected engineering and manufacturing training and assessment business is seeking a Engineering Trainer to join the current team on a permanent basis. The role is focused on supporting learners and training in the workplace within Engineering subjects.
Commutable from: Oxford, Bicester, Abingdon, Thame, Witney
Salary: £ 30,000 - £ 35,000 p.a. + Company Car + Pension
The Role
The Engineering Trainer will support a caseload of Apprentices within manufacturing and engineering business with their learning, development and assessment needs as part of their ongoing apprenticeships. The Trainer/Assessor will work closely with both the Apprentice and their respective employer to ensure the most successful learning and development outcomes for both and maximise the learner's full potential. You will develop relationships with employers to ensure regular apprenticeship engagements and assignments and ensure the latest developments and content in training are offered to the apprentices and employers.
The Person
The Engineering Trainer will support workplace assessments, reviews and determine plans for apprentices at each level in line with awarding body requirements and the delivery model. The Trainer/Assessor will coach and mentor learners to achieve successful outcomes and provide support for functional skills training when required. The Trainer/Assessor will ideally grow the working relationship with the employer to ensure a continued flow of apprenticeship engagements reflecting a successful delivery and training model. Ideally, you will be qualified to Level 3 or above, experienced in a relevant industrial field and/or a relevant teaching qualification. Training and support will be provided by the business in the first 12 months to achieve this level if not already met.
