We are working with an Independent School in Bristol to find a Learning Mentor to start as soon as viable. Successful candidates will receive FREE Team Teach training with the possibility of further training.
The perfect candidate will be...
* Have experience of working in the health, education, social care or police sector
* Have a good understanding of what makes an effective intervention strategy
* Are committed to safeguarding young people and helping them overcome difficulties
* Are committed to ensuring students maximise every opportunity to achieve academically and personally
* Are able to work within a dynamic and challenging environment
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Passionate about working with young people in education
The school is an alternative education provider for young people for whom mainstream education has not worked. They focus on children and young people's personal and social development and re-engage them with education, ensuring they gain qualifications and move forward into further education, training or employment.
