Secondary Geography Teacher Required - Oldham
£120 - £180 per day
PK Education's Manchester branch are working with a Catholic secondary school in the Salford area in order to recruit a dynamic Geography teacher for a maternity cover position.
The school are looking for a passionate and highly motivated teacher to join their welcoming humanities department. The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and Ks4 Geography to classes across a range of abilities. Lessons should engage and challenge students in order to provide opportunity for good progress to be made.
This role would suit an experienced teacher with strong classroom management however NQT's are also welcome to apply.
To be considered for the role you should have:
Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).
Good classroom and behaviour management.
Strong subject knowledge of the Geography curriculum including the new GCSE
Additional requirements:

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
