Successfully Black Network (SBN) is a platform that aims to showcase the accomplishments of leading black entrepreneurs, brands and businesses across the globe. Our primary goal is to educate and positively influence the growing black entrepreneurial population. SBN seeks to liaise with influential CEO’s, founders, owners and other key players across all sectors, offering transparency and sharing truths on how to succeed and maintain longevity in their own specialist area. We are actively searching for those who see strength in educating and uniting others by sharing their own growing pains and successes. We strongly believe there is enough room for collaborative prosperity through communion and one’s own candour and truth.

Focussed on building and expanding the SB networks reach in 2021, we are looking for a social media and marketing lead who can come in, manage and enhance the company’s social media presence. This includes interacting with viewers, promoting interactive and engaging brand-focused content and expanding opportunities for revenue. Creating innovative social media campaigns through activities such as posting text and image updates, videos, and other content that drives audience engagement through platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin.

Job description:

• Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, content ideas and implementation schedules
• Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages and posts
• Collects engagement data and analyses interactions and site visits, plus uses this information to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns, regularly reporting progress
• Grows and expands company social media presence
• Researches and monitors activity of company competitors
• Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media messages
• Help to build a marketing subscription list
• Be on top of the latest digital marketing trends

Qualifications and education requirements

Essential:

• 5 GCSE’s, grade A-C including English and Maths.
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Creative mind-set, Attention to Detail, Self-Motivated, Creative Problem-Solving Skills
• Strong interest in and basic understanding of online marketing
• Understand how content works on a social web.
• Highly organised individual
• Flexibility and enthusiasm

Desirable:

• Degree in Communications or Marketing
• 1 Year Experience within Social Media Management, Marketing, Content Creation, Graphic Design
• Copywriting
• SEO knowledge
