Job description
Graduate Project Coordinator
As a Project Coordinator, it will be your role to help take the lead on smaller projects and to assist and advise project managers on the management of larger deliveries. This includes being able to coordinate projects, schedules and track progress and results of projects working independently or under direct supervision of a more senior project manager.
Responsibilities:
- Creating project plans
- Monitoring project progress
- Reporting project results
- Taking the lead on smaller deliveries
- Running project progress meetings and maintaining momentum on delivery of tasks required to deliver the outcomes of the projects
- Managing project RAID and escalating where appropriate
Qualifications
- Degree level or equivalent is usually desirable and preferred.
- Working towards or completed Project Management certification
- Background in project management experience also desirable.
Skills and Experience
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Awareness of project management methodologies such as Agile and Prince2
- Be fluent in the use of Microsoft products including MSP and MS planner
- Comfortable working in an IT focused delivery function
- Ability to work independently and within a team both internally and externally to the company
