Due to an exciting new expansion programme, we've got 6 brand new roles for Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join one of our food manufacturing sites in the Bradford area. Reporting into the Head of Engineering, you will work closely with the production team to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all preventative maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption.
This role is a continental shift pattern, working 12 hours 4 on 4 off.
Roles and Responsibility
You will be involved in electrical and mechanical proactive and re-active maintenance
As an Electrical Engineer, you will work collaboratively within the engineering team
providing support in investigating means of improving plant productivity and also investigating and establishing causes for all breakdowns and damages
You'll action any repairs and ensure that all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised
To Be Successful
You will need to hold one of the following qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or BTEC(Apprenticeship) in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
It is essential within this role to have experience within fault findings and/or diagnosis.
Having Experience with using PLC, would be fundamental with this role and the company's requirements.
Industry experience within the food sector
