Project/Proposals Engineer
This well established and market leading manufacturer of capital equipment and consumable products is recruiting for an ambitious and driven Project/Proposals Engineer to join their Warrington based facility. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will aid the delivery of bespoke projects to an impressive portfolio of clients throughout the manufacturing industry.

THE OPPORTUNITY
In this brand new and pivotal role, you will work alongside Sales and Engineering to deliver bespoke/modified capital feasibility to design, manufacture and delivery.
Core deliverables:
* Preparing technical and commercial proposals for fabricated equipment
* Produce drawings for proposed items including technical specifications
* Providing technical advice regarding fabricated systems, liaising with buyers, sales managers, production and design engineers
* Provide a consultative, solutions driven approach to customer problems
* Preparing costings and estimates for fabricated items
* Working alongside the engineering manager to decide most efficient and cost-effective routes to manufacture
THE PERSON
The successful will undoubtedly be a self-starter with the desire to take ownership of this key role.
You will also:-
* Be mechanically qualified, ideally apprentice trained (or equivalent)
* Have a good understanding of sheetmetal/process design & fabrication
* Have a good working knowledge of 2D/3D CAD (ideally AutoCAD/Solidworks)
* Be confident to produce project documentation packs
* Have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients at all levels
