Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Midlands, East or West. Will be mix of Office and remote on a weekly basis.
Package: Circa £30,000 - £40,000 salary plus bonus
This could be a great opportunity to join a business that has recently bee acquired by a very exciting education group. Ultimately, still in it's infancy, this group has a number of highly experienced professionals setting up the infrastructure to ensure it can begin to grow into it's potential starting this year!
The group itself will span across the further education market, from traineeships to apprenticeships, and commercial training. This BDM position is for the latter, you will be focused on selling the company's ILM commercial training programmes. With ILM accreditation they successfully deliver the ILM range up to level 7, covering all courses across leadership, project management and coaching & mentoring.
You will have national coverage, and be able to target employers across the UK. There will be a key focus on new business upon starting this role, as well as the addition of having existing resources to target as well by re-engaging old clients and prospects.
As a business and group as a whole, they have ambitious plans to grow head counts exponentially this year, as well as investing in more resources and infrastructure in order to be a big name across the market.
In terms of location, providing you can commute to either Nottingham or Worcester a few days a week, then the rest of your time will be remote or on the road targeting your clients.
You will need to have existing experience of the education and training market. Ideally selling Leadership based programmes, either commercially or funded apprenticeships as the process will be similar.
