A well-backed challenger bank based in central London is looking to hire a Project Manager for a 6 month contract. The role will be to deliver a digital wallet across the European market.
They are looking for a Project Manager who has worked on similar projects before in the neobank or payments space, who is confident and can bring an in-the-detail, technical approach to the delivery of a digital wallet.
Responsibilities for the Payments Project Manager will include:
Managing and implementing the delivery of the digital wallet across the European Market.
Liaise with other members of the team from a wide background including Product, Customer Service, Compliance, Engineering, and Risk to ensure the smooth rollout of the digital wallet.
Communicating between different teams, stakeholders and senior members of the business in a clear and concise way.
Providing client support for technical and functional evaluation when needed.
The successful Payments Project Manager will have:
Proven experience delivering digital wallets in either a challenger bank or for a payments provider.
An entrepreneurial mind-set and the ability to think outside the box in order to come up with innovative solutions to problems.
Knowledge around payments e.g Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPs, MasterCard, Visa.
Previous experience at a challenger bank or payments provider is preferred.
This is a 6 month contract based in central London. The role will initially be working from home with the view to move into the office eventually. The client is willing to pay between £550 and £650 for the right candidate.
