Introduction

Are you a qualified Clinical Psychologist looking to join a dedicated and friendly team? Where you'll help young people build a brighter future? If so, join Brighton & Hove Clinic an inpatient CAMHS Eating Disorder service in Hove. 

You will be part of the team at Brighton & Hove Clinic, a 16 bedded service that provides a CAMHS Tier 4 service for young people aged 12 - 18 years with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder and who may have other mental health conditions. 

Reporting to the Therapy Lead, you will provide specialist psychology assessments and interventions and offer a psychological perspective and advice within the MDT.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be qualified with HCPC registration. You will enjoy a range of training opportunities that can see your career grow and achieve your career aspirations.

Your responsibilities

  • Undertake specialised psychology assessments, and provide appropriate interventions
  • Run and/or supervise therapeutic groups
  • Complete all recording and reporting tasks associated with clinical work
  • Contribute to the training and supervision of ward staff as provided by the psychological therapies team

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Postgraduate doctoral-level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council
  • Eligible for registration as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience of working in CAMHS
  • Experience of inpatient work and/or work with eating disorders
