IT Asset Analyst (6 Month FTC) in Chester House, Epsom Ave, Handforth, Cheadle, Greater Manchester, SK9 3DF

We’re recruiting for an IT Asset Analyst to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for the successful replacement of Windows client assets running legacy operating systems in our Vet Practices. You will report to the IT Service Desk Manager and will be in constant communication with third parties and Vet Practice owners as their point of contact for the asset replacement project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record accurate and detailed information required for the project for each individual Practice and their requirements, ensuring it is always kept up to date.
• Liaise with third parties to carry out any technical work required as part of the project.
• Where a solution cannot be provided or will be timely, escalate appropriately to the relevant individuals.
• Ensure regular communication to all teams, colleagues and 3rd parties involved.
• Work with the Asset Manager and Service Desk Manager when required for escalations.
• Order required assets for each Practice and book engineers as required.
• Work with Area Relationship Managers to support Practices through the replacement project.
• Respond to all enquiries in a timely manner.
• Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on the progress of the project.
• Ensure correct processes and policies are adhered to in the procurement of assets.

Skills Required;

• PC literate in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good organisational skills and an eye for detail.
• Able to demonstrate experience of delivering excellent customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
