English Graduate
Have you recently graduated with a degree in English? Do you have a passion for supporting students in their English development?
If so, our partner school in Manchester have a gap within their English department for an aspiring English teacher to work with low attaining students in small groups. This position is ideal for a recent graduate who is looking to pursue a career in Secondary teaching.
By working as an English Intervention specialist, you will be expected to plan sessions to support the learning of students across KS3 and KS4. This position is initially being offered on a full time basis, from Easter until summer in the first instance. There is also a fixed term position available for the successful English graduate.
It is essential for this position that you have previous experience working with young people aged 11-16 in a supportive capacity. The Head of English wishes to meet interested candidates with immediate effect, if you’re interested – please apply straight away.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
