Kier Utilities keep our telecoms clients’ customers connected to superfast broadband, digital TV and the latest full-fibre gigabit internet services through the design and construction of new fibre networks as well as the maintenance of existing HFC networks.
Recently appointed as City Fibre’s core partner, this exciting contract will see us providing multi-million pound planned and reactive fibre and copper network services across the South West over the next five-years.

About the role
You will be responsible for managing a team of supervisors ensuring all work is delivered to time, cost and quality in a safe and compliant manner and to ensure the compliance of the supply chain to all relevant processes, standards and specification.
Successfully manage the relationship with the client (City Fibre) and all stakeholders, providing regular updates on programme delivery

This is what we’re looking for from you - a good understanding and application of the necessary specification and processes associated with the contract; understanding of the various order types issued by client and an ability to assist the supply chain undertake suitable prioritisation if required; liaise effectively with client representatives, Highways Authorities and third party stakeholder representatives.
In terms of your experience and knowledge, you will ideally be able to demonstrate working knowledge of TMA and NRSWA; knowledge of regulations surrounding COSHH/RIDDOR/Health & Safety at Work, and have experience using ICOMS, ETA and Depotnet
