Subject Tutors Required - Welcoming Teachers/Graduates - Aylesbury
Supply Desk are recruiting for teachers and tutors for September 2020!
The government have announced a £1bn fund to help England's children catch up on what they have missed whilst schools have been closed. Whilst details of the programme are still to be announced, planning is underway for how this will be run, with schools anticipating a need for subject specialist intervention tutors from approved agencies.
Supply Desk partner with the Buckinghamshire Council and are an approved supplier of educational staff throughout the county. Recruitment for tutors between now and September will be ongoing. We understand individual schools will decide what will benefit them the most; teachers, teaching assistants, tutors, or a combination of any/all. Furthermore, we offer support with hourly, daily, weekly and long-term requirements of this type.
Private tutors will be able to deliver 1:1 and small group lessons to pupils who have fallen behind with their studies after months out of school. Many have not accessed any remote learning throughout lockdown.
A study last week found that around 2 million children in the UK have done little or no schoolwork throughout. If you are a qualified teacher or a graduate seeking to work in the education sector and are able to offer tutoring in any capacity, I would love to hear from you!
