Information about the role – Psychology Graduate Learning Mentor:

  • Supporting the academic, social and emotional development of pupils with additional behavioural needs
  • Working alongside experienced and dedicated SEN staff department
  • Delivering specifically tailored SEN support sessions
  • Opportunity to work in both 1:1 and group sessions
  • Full academic year
  • Primary school
  • Paid £300 – £325 per week, term time only as Psychology Graduate SEN Learning Mentor

  • What you will need for this role:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Extensive degree subject knowledge
  • Real passion for supporting pupil with additional behavioural needs
  • Eager to find a role inside of a warm and welcoming SEN department
  • Inspiring and attentive attitude
  • Patient and understanding regarding progression of pupils
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviour
