A school in Stockport is looking for an Online French tutor to offer support students. The school requires the tutor to work with students across KS3 and KS4.

In order to be considered for this position, the applicant is expected to have:

  • QTS or relevant tuition experience.
  • A degree in French or another MFL Subject.
  • The ability to deliver high quality sessions online.
  • It is essential that the tutor will be able to:

  • Deliver lessons using an online platform, whilst being able to competently keep students engaged.
  • Display solid subject knowledge as well as a good understanding of exam board expectations.
  • Implement strategies specifically designed to ensure that students are able to maximise their ability, within an unconventional setting.
  • Develop both written ability within the subject, as well as placing emphasis also on the pupils speaking ability.
  • Communicate with teaching staff in order to gain an insight into areas of improvement for specific pupils.
  • Be able to provide educational material and resources that are relevant in ensuring that students are able to efficiently adapt to a new form of learning process.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
