Our client, based in Sherburn in Elmet is looking for multiple trainee machinists to join their team.
The company itself manufacture wood based products, ranging from chip boards, wooden signage and installation panels.
The rate of pay begins at £8.72 per hour, increasing as you progress within the training matrix.
The ideal candidate will have their own transport due to the location of this company.
The job itself is Monday – Friday, working 8.30am – 16.30pm whilst completing training.
Once fully trained you would then drop on to a shift rotation of 6.00am - 14.00pm / 14.00pm – 22.00pm week by week.
In this role you will;
Set up various wood machines
Run various wood machines
Work as part of a team to assure the machines are working correctly
Quality assurance of product
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
