We’re looking for driven, resilient and passionate graduates to join a fantastic school as Graduate Teaching Assistants in Watford. The Role

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Minimum 2:1 degree with strong A Levels & GCSEs
  • Roles in Maths, English, Science, Geography, History and SEN
  • Experience working with young people highly desirable
  • Lovely secondary school located in the heart of Watford
  • Working across KS3-KS4
  • Opportunity to progress to school-based teacher training
  • Earn £300-400 per week
  • Monday-Friday, full-time role

  • As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, each day will be different. You will be responsible for holding learning interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will plan these sessions with the support of department staff to boost engagement, motivation and ultimately achievement. You will have the opportunity to learn from the excellent existing teachers within the school as you develop your own teaching style throughout the year. Your ideas and participation will be welcomed in wider school life: extra-curricular activities, school trips, and parents’ evening to name a few. Most excitingly, for the right person, there will be the opportunity to undertake school-based teacher training with endless progression opportunities for those who want it!
