Widening Participation and Student Communications Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
A key part of the role will be developing and implementing a Widening Participation (WP) strategy across the faculty to diversify our student recruitment. This will involve working closely with departments and other divisions within UCL such as the WP office and UCL Culture. The roleholder will identify and consolidate WP activity already active within departments, ensure that new projects have an ongoing engagement strategy and advise on WP activity for the faculty.A smaller portion of the role will involve working closely with the Head of Education & Student Experience in addition to the Faulty Education Team, and will encompass responsibility for all aspects of communications relating to students at a faculty level. This will include developing and maintaining websites, commissioning and producing content to support the work of the Faculty Education Team and liaising and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.Key stakeholders that you will work closely with in this role include the Head of Education & Student Experience, the Vice Dean (Education), the Vice Dean (EDI), Widening Participation BEAMS Access Officer and colleagues in the Office of the Vice Provost (Education and Student Affairs), Office of the Vice Provost (Advancement), UCL Communications & Marketing, UCL Culture and external organisations such as schools and charities.Fill in below which area you are searching in for a similar function and don't forget your e-mail address!
