As a Professional Services Delivery Manager, you will lead a regional technical team of field engineers. You will work closely with regional leads to accommodate the demand for skills, to provide technical leadership across the region, and to mentor a growing team.

You'll have the opportunity to succeed while working in small, highly-performing teams and bringing your demonstrated leadership acumen to a team responsible for ensuring the best experience for customers moving to Google Cloud. You and your team will be responsible for providing technical solutions, managing relationships with our customers' technical staff, and generally enabling our Google Cloud partners. More than just providing excellent support to our partners and customers, you will identify hard problems and develop permanent, elegant solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a team of Strategic Cloud Engineers and Technical Consultants.
  • Consult with customers on technical issues based on in-depth product and technical knowledge.
  • Develop technical tools and assets. Document reproducible solutions for customers and partners.
  • Provide highly technical implementation support in customer environments, including guidance on implementation feasibility of cross-product integrations.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time.

  • Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in technical consulting and/or project/program management in corporate IT, professional IT services, or product development.
  • Experience with relevant cloud technology in infrastructure, application development, data, and/or DevOps.

  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading global and/or distributed teams, with a focus on coaching/mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Experience in leading IT implementations, IT support, deployments, and/or business development activities.
  • Technical experience with Web technologies. Experience in analysis of relational data using database management systems.
  • Experience in people management/business leadership, with excellent organizational, analytical/influencing skills, and effective written/verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in evolving/ambiguous environments. Ability to work in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team.
