As a Maths Graduate you will initially start in a support role, building upon your knowledge and skillset. You will be given foundation training as well as a dedicated mentor to learn from.
As you will be training to become a fully qualified Maths Teacher, you will be expected to plan and deliver lessons within the Maths department. You will have guidance from your mentor and it is important to be able to take on feedback reflectively and build upon feedback.
At the end of the first academic year you will be on track to achieve qualified teacher status making you an official Maths Teacher!
