Private Housekeeper. Part time, Monday to Friday, Newmarket, Salary to be discussed on application
I am recruiting for a flexible part-time housekeeper to oversee the running of a stunning private house between Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds.
Due to the nature of the role, you must have experience of working in private country houses, and be ok with animals. A full driving licence is also required.

As part of your role, you will work alongside the current house team to undertake the running of the house and care of the families children and pets.
This is a part time role offering 28-30 hours a week during the quiet season and 40+ a week during the summer and the Shooting Season, where my clients hold various shoots gatherings and parties.
You will have a basic knowledge of home-grown garden produce and be able to cook and create varied healthy seasonal meals.
As the Housekeeper, you will have a varied role and each day will be different.
The ideal candidate will be required to:
• Carry out general housekeeping duties, including household shopping, cleaning, laundry ironing.
• Caring for the children when they are on site aswell as babysitting as required
• Looking after the family pets, including walking the dogs helping with the grooming of the horses.
• Daily cooking for family and adhoc catering for small dinner parties as required
As housekeeper you will be expected to work as part of the team, helping in other departments as required to ensure the seamless running of the house and estate.
