Badenoch + Clark has been engaged by a hugely successful global business in Sussex to source a new HR manager on a part time and permanent basis (working 25 hours per week). You will provide high quality HR support to their Eastbourne site, determining and implementing strategic HR plans.
Key responsibilities will include:
Ensure HR strategy, policies and processes are effectively implemented within budgets and timelines.
Facilitate the employee engagement programme and action planning.
Work closely with the central Global Mobility team on local project assignments and international appointments.
Lead on complex employee relation cases and support at internal appeal meetings or external tribunals as required.
Design and implement an Early Careers strategy in order to address the skills gaps and build the future talent pipeline.
Work in collaboration with the Learning & Development Specialist in order to design an L&D strategy that is fit for purpose and to collaborate with leadership teams to develop a learning and development culture.
Work closely with business leaders and line managers, providing expert HR guidance on a variety of HR matters.
Support the business in developing talent plans and develop talent management strategies to deliver those plans, to include recruitment, succession planning, organisational design, individual and organisation development.
Work closely with the UK Payroll Analyst to ensure that monthly payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring full resolution of any issues should they arise.
Develop a recruitment strategy that supports managers in managing their recruitment activity.
Take a lead role in the roll out of global HR projects to UK employees as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering organisation.
Up to date knowledge of appropriate employment legislation.
Experience of operating within a continuously changing and evolving environment.
Experience of supporting/delivering culture change projects.
Line management experience.
