The Role of an English Graduate Teaching Assistant:
As a graduate Teaching Assistant for English, you will provide the inspiration for young people to develop their knowledge, their literacy and vocabulary skills along with their ability to contribute to society. You will have the opportunity to display your own passion for English by looking at various different exam board requirements that cover American Literature, Shakespeare as well as non-fiction texts too. You will be working with groups to assist teaching in delivering the diverse curriculum that the school employs.
To be successful in the selection process, you will need to have an English degree from a UK Institution, ideally Russell Group, with a minimum 2.1 result with strong A-Levels.
