The Role
Managing a team of up to two people to develop departmental product ranges that delivers the core values. Ensuring we meet current and future sales, margin and stock targets within budget.
Role Profile:
own, plan and develop your own product range. responsible for delivering the strategy for the range with support of buyer. accountable for driving category performance, including sourcing, managing supply base and departmental KPI’s. building lasting relationships with all suppliers, maintaining communication to ensure departmental KPI’s are achieved understanding the market place, target customer and key competitors. presenting in trade, sign offs and range direction with directors. assist in the development of the supply base to ensure delivery of the strategy. to source and negotiate with current and new suppliers to ensure you are buying the most cost-effective materials for the garment develop trading opportunities and implement as commercially appropriate. review wssi with merch on a weekly basis to ensure we are hitting monthly intake targets and leaving cash aside for repeats/otb. accountable of your personal development, gaining experience working towards owning your own product area responsible for managing and developing an assistant buyer and / or a buying admin assistant Skills Required:
Previous Fashion Buying experience is essential. Must be have previous experience as an Assistant Buyer, Junior Buyer or Buyer Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills Proven ability to work on own initiative and independently Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual Clear communicator Team player Proficient in Microsoft Office What We Will Give You:
