We’re looking for a customer-centric designer to join our Wireless Design team. In this role, you’ll work closely with UX designers, stakeholders, product owners and developers across all Wireless titles to drive discoverability, and to help enhance our digital offering.

Your Team

The Wireless Design team is a small team of UI and UX designers, working across all Wireless titles. The role offers the ability to work on brands like TalkSPORT, Times Radio and Virgin Radio. The Wireless Design team’s main focus will be on research and development to help accelerate product improvements and define outcomes that are as yet unknown to the business.

Your Role

As a Junior UI designer, you will report to theUX/UI Lead in Wireless;your role is to implement creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate our brand values.

You will work closely with team members to discover new opportunities that will enhance and continuously improve the products. This role will be cross-title so you will get the opportunity to pick up a variety of projects from Wireless.

We are looking for a Junior UI designer with a passion for design & technology, as well as a keen eye for user-experience. You’ll be hands-on and willing to work in a fast paced, ever-moving environment. You’ll keep up-to-date with the latest advances in technology, design trends and have a passion for data.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working across web, mobile web and native apps
  • Strong eye for detail and quality of output with presentations

  • Experience working in collaborative environments alongside other UX designers/researchers, as well as wider disciplines including developers, business analysts and product owners

  • Basic prototyping skills; experience of one of the following - InVision, Figma, etc.

  • Ability to communicate and articulate design decisions to the team and stakeholders

  • Ability to manage time well and respond to time constraints accordingly

  • Strong understanding of user needs and business needs

  • Relationship building and stakeholder management
