Are you a recent English graduate that would like to gain experience working in a secondary school before you undertake your ITT in September 2021?

Person Specification

To be considered for this role you must be an assertive English graduate who has worked with children in either a volunteer or paid role and achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree. The school are hoping for a graduate who is able to demonstrate the necessary ambition to go on and complete their teacher training. You must have the skills to demonstrate a truly caring and empathetic nature towards your pupils and fellow staff. The successful candidate will have a work ethic that is motivated by success and an eagerness to take on additional responsibility.

About the Role

This English Graduate TA position involves joining a particular department chosen based on your qualifications and the school's needs. Learn exceptional teaching techniques from a Senior Teacher who is also an experienced mentor and the school are willing to offer you the same training and CPD as qualified teachers. The department follows a positive and caring ethic that stems from a commitment to develop the students' behaviour and social understanding.
