  • In your role as a Graduate Academic Mentor you will need to display high levels of communication and be able to adapt your communication style as needed, with learners of varying ability. You will be a confident and assured individual, specifically in your degree subject. Specifically, you will act as an Academic Mentor to KS4 & KS5 students working mainly to support class teachers with group projects and bespoke learning plans. You will be required to assist with booster classes for those who are on the C/D grade border and need 1:1 support.

    As a Graduate Academic Mentor you will be given full support and training throughout the academic year, this exceptional Secondary School has historically been a fantastic platform for budding teachers to learn from the very best. Many of the previous Graduate Academic Mentors employed by the school have gone on to a Schools Direct placement.
