Hrgo are seeking Trainee Customs Clearance Clerks for our Client based in the Dover area. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential, and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. This role will suit candidates that have an interest within the transport and customs clearance industry. Full training and support will be given for this role.
Duties include:
Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment
Processing Import/Export declarations
Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements
Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures
