  • About you:

    The school are looking for a bright graduate who is passionate about working in education and potentially looking to forge a career as an inspirational teacher. You must have a strong academic background, with at least a 2:1 in your degree (English Literature, English Language or a related field) as well as solid A Levels. Additionally, experience tutoring or mentoring young people would be advantageous. As a Teaching Assistant of English, you will need to display excellent communication skills and be able to effectively engage with students of varying aptitudes, as well as being creative and adaptable.

    About the role:

    As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant you will support across all key stages in the school, supporting class teachers, offering wider classroom support as well as individual support. You will take the lead on small group sessions as well as tutoring on a 1:1 basis. As your confidence grows, you will design and run your own booster sessions and 1:1 interventions.
