What is Actuarial at EY?
Our fast-changing world can create lots of opportunity for insurance businesses, but it also creates new risks. We help our clients identify these risks by carrying out complex calculations, asking the right questions, setting priorities and creating action plans for success.
What will you be doing?
You’ll join either our Actuarial Non-Life Insurance or Actuarial Life Insurance teams and start contributing to real client projects alongside our teams and Partners. Before too long, you’ll be doing similar work to our graduates, which could include:
Non-Life Insurance
Life Insurance
If everything works out well, you could even secure a job here after you graduate. A job where you’ll have plenty of room to grow and expand your experiences. A job where you can belong.
Entry requirements
If you’re in your penultimate year at university, or if you’re already in your final year but will be doing a one-year Master’s degree, or taking a gap year, this internship is for you. We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an Honours degree in a numbers-based subject like Maths, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Physics or similar, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels, including an A in Maths (or Scottish Higher / Baccalaureate equivalent), to be eligible to apply.
