Our client is a Global Consultancy that help clients across an array of industries such as Private Equity, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Food & Beverage. They are looking for an exceptional Senior Research Analyst/Junior Consultant to support the Research and Key Strategic Insights Team on one of their key client accounts. You will act as the main point of contact between the consultancy and end client on a number of research projects designed to answer key strategic questions.
Responsibilities
Managing the client relationship for the entirety of the project. This will involve understanding the rationale behind each research project, the end client’s pain points, defining timeframes as well as consistently communicating with relevant stakeholders to ensure an effective final deliverable is achieved Liaising closely with internal/external resources such as an external research partner, SME networks and data subscriptions that may be leveraged throughout some research projects Support in the collation of primary and secondary research in different research projects, as and when needed Utilise Microsoft Excel to analyse data you’ve gathered (predominantly quantitative in nature) and draw strategic insights from your findings Support in the creation of compelling PowerPoint decks and strategic reports to be delivered back to the end client, highlighting the most valuable insights Requirements
2-3 years’ relevant Market Research and/or Consulting experience Highly analytical – exceptional Excel capabilities, as well as extremely diligent and resourceful Strong research capabilities – must be comfortable collating primary/secondary research as necessary, conducting relevant quantitative and qualitative analysis as needed Previous experience creating compelling written reports and PowerPoint decks to be presented to the end client Experience managing client relationships and ensuring research projects are delivered effectively
