The ideal candidate for this Behaviour Support Assistant role will need to demonstrate a supportive and enthusiastic nature combined with a real passion for education. You must have graduated with a minimum 2:1 in your degree and have a strong academic background (A-Levels and GCSEs). Prior experience working with young people and managing challenging behaviour people would be highly beneficial!
The role would require you to work specifically with pupils who have additional behavioural needs, and require 1:1 support in the classroom to ensure they are kept on task and fulfil their potential! Your expert subject knowledge will come in handy as you may also be able to deliver high quality interventions in your chosen subject.
