The school is seeking an approachable and motivated individual who is able to teach competently online. Previous experience tutoring online is highly desirable. Please note, that it is the school’s intention for this role to move into face to face tuition when schools return to full scale teaching after the lockdown.
As an English Tutor, the applicant will be responsible for preparing students for assessments, as well as targeting specific areas where improvement is required. This will mean communicating regularly with teaching staff. Holding strong subject knowledge and being aware of curriculum demands is imperative.
Pay for this role will range betwen £18 and £25 hourly.
Many of the students who require this support are from disadvantaged backgrounds. There will also be the chance to work with students with SEN, bolstering the applicants CV in gaining essential experience.
The school is located in Stockport, with multiple transport links located close by.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
