Student and Academic Services at the University of Greenwich has a vacancy for a Student Visa Compliance Assistant within the International Compliance and Advice Department.
Based within the Student Visa Compliance Team, the Student Visa Compliance Assistant plays a crucial role in enabling the university to deliver full compliance with UKVI regulations. The role holder will assist the Student Visa Compliance Officer in all UKVI reporting, including the visa extension process, in accordance with the university’s sponsorship policy. The role holder will also assist the team in ensuring all students have permission to study in the UK for the duration of their studies, with the associated management of records and data.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and an expertise in student visa compliance, with the opportunity to develop skills in data analysis, risk management, and regulatory compliance, helping to drive change and developing the role in a customer-friendly, pro-active manner.
Due to the nature of this role, and the fact that it will require Home Office clearance to access the UKVI Sponsor Management System, we are unfortunately unable to consider any applicant who will require a Certificate of Sponsorship under Tier 2 of the Points Based Immigration System. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBScheck.
The post is based at our Greenwich Maritime Campus in Greenwich, London. For more information or an informal discussion about this role, please contact the Student Visa Compliance Officer, Kelvin Adetunji on M.K.Adetunji@greenwich.ac.uk.
