Job Description
We are currently seeking new recruits to join us in the New Year !
We are looking for people with an optimistic view of how 2021 will progress and who want to be part of a team who are highly respected and cherished by the community it works with. Our staff are good and we do not mind shouting about how good they are.
It takes a special type of person to be a CAREGiver with transferable skills such as great problem-solving and clear communication, it can be challenging and emotionally draining but you are looking after the most important people in the world, someone's mum, dad or grandparent so you don't need us to tell you that.
Our training is in depth but exciting and Award Winning, so you get a lot of additional transferable skills, plus you get the benefits of Continuous Professional Development with the opportunity to take professional examinations if that is what you want to do.
Each day is different as all clients have differing needs and we adapt the support and assistance we give them to ensure their needs are fully met.
This can mean helping the person to get up each morning or go to bed each evening, washing, dressing, assisting the person with personal care such as catheter care and changing continence pads, assisting them to go to the toilet, so you need to be happy with offering that level of care and without embarrassment.
You may also be asked to assist with shopping, taking the clients to social events, collecting medication, doing some light housework and meal preparation. We undertake to ensure all of our clients needs are met and sometimes that may mean a walk in the park or a visit to a garden centre, or just a cup of tea and a chat.
If you thought being a CAREGiver was just menial work, then think again as you will need every bit of common sense you can muster.
If you are looking for a change of career and a new challenge and are prepared to give it your all then make the New Year great and call us now for a chat on 01707-240650.
