Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you a University student and do you want to work part-time in IT? We have an opportunity for you to join our iptiQ Chief Technology Office team and work on interesting projects with experienced colleagues. 
In our team we encounter a lot of interesting problems across our businesses around the world and we want you to help us with enhancing and redefining how we utilise technology to solve business problems.
Your role will be to work on several topics, ranging from hands-on POCs to supporting strategy definitions, in cooperation with other CTO team members and technology teams in each of the business we work with. 

What will you do in detail?

  • Assist to define technology strategies and new technology utilisation
  • Implement POCs to test out new ideas and technologies in areas such as machine learning & cloud services 
  • Monitor and support governance tasks that are key to supporting technology adoption in a regulated environment
  • Review and assess technology platforms that iptiQ is seeking to implement or purchase from 3rd party organisations
  • Collaborate directly with members of the iptiQ technology teams and external technology partners, supporting them throughout various initiatives
  • Learn about the work environment of iptiQ in a global, corporate environment

    Requirements for the employee
    University student

    Language skills
    English - Upper intermediate (B2)

    Personality requirements and skills

  • You are a University student in the 4th or 5th grade of your studies
  • You will be a keen follower and user of technology, with at least basic understanding of how technology is created and used
  • It would be great if you have some basic knowledge in software development languages and/or cloud services
  • Most importantly you are willing to learn new things across various aspects of technology such as machine learning, designing software solutions, cloud and data management

  • You enjoy interacting with people
  • You like to understand problems and work to some degree independently on solutions
  • You do not hesitate to ask when you need help or explanation
  • You like working in an intercultural and international team environment
  • You enjoy talking and writing in English at work
