Veritas are currently working with a mainstream Primary school based in Darwen who are looking for teaching assistants to join their team. The school are looking for a dedicated qualified teaching assistant or graduate with experience in a childcare setting.
The candidate will join a large supportive SEN department within the mainstream school. The school are particularly interested in meeting candidates that have a keen interest in pursuing a career in teaching. The role will involve supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within the classroom. The candidate will be supporting SEN students with ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and also learning and communication difficulties, therefore, an understanding of SEN and an empathetic nature is essential.
