Location: Fareham/Swindon

The opportunity: 

Zurich Insurance UK is expanding its DevOps team to meet the increasing demand for application development, DevOps practices and innovation. The DevOps team is helping the business transform by improving efficiency and by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do via our digital transformation work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the DevOps Salesforce team as a Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator within IT at Zurich. You will work in an Agile way alongside our business teams, solution architects and Salesforce Developers to design, develop, and deploy large-scale enterprise solutions, all while learning and growing your skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

If you want to build applications and contribute objective analytical insight into the design of applications, systems and processes that will transform Zurich through its online digital services, you could be part of an award-winning and rapidly growing DevOps team. You will be a Salesforce Business Analyst / Administrator with experience in translating business need into requirements, shaping and informing solution design and architecture, and initiating and presenting recommendations based on analysis in order to influence decision making within multiple lines of business and across a diverse portfolio of demand.

This opportunity is no ordinary Salesforce Business Analyst role – Zurich has positioned Salesforce as a strategic technology with five Salesforce Orgs covering Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Vlocity and Nonprofit. You will gain a broad range of Salesforce experiences across multiple lines of business, portfolios and projects.

Your skills and experience:

  • You will have Salesforce certifications, ideally ADM201. Candidates without ADM201 but with significant Business Analysis or Salesforce experience will be considered but must be willing to work towards achieving ADM201 within 12 months.
  • Experienced in translating business demand into requirements.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management.
  • Have Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and/or Vlocity experience.
  • Practical and hands-on experience configuring Salesforce including workflows, validation rules, and security control.
  • Great interpersonal skills, and good written and oral communication skills – being able to talk directly to customers to understand change and configuration requirements.
  • Enjoy problem-solving and think logically.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the business to turn ambiguity into requirements.
  • Contribute to working in a diverse team with different backgrounds and skills.
  • Take responsibility for a piece of work from start to finish.
  • Desirable:

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Application Builder.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1.
  • Experience of using JIRA.
