Initially you will take up the role as a science graduate learning mentor in order to build relevant experience and knowledge of outstanding teaching and learning.

Job Specification:
As a graduate learning mentor you will be inspirational to the children within the science department. You will be giving them an opportunity to learn even more outside of the classroom through small group intervention sessions. You will be expected to deliver small teaching sessions to small groups.
As part of the role you will plan intervention sessions in order to boost pupil understanding and pupil progress amongst a range of learners. Some learners will need extra support to reach their high potential which is A/A* equivalent, whilst others may need a different level of support to reach a secure C (4/5) as they are currently below this point. Excellent resources are at hand, so too are outstanding science teachers who will show you how to become fantastic at planning small sessions.
