Maths Learning Coach – Wolverhampton
You must be an ambitious Maths graduate who has a Maths degree, with strong A Levels including an A or B in Maths, and have a real nurturing style. The ideal Maths Learning Coach will have a strong desire for teaching and education within Maths that will allow them to thrive in the school.
The Head of Maths is keen to appoint a Maths graduates to a Maths Learning Coach position to work exclusively within the Maths department, and will be your mentor. The role will be an important part of the Maths department working with students across KS3 and KS4. You will support learners who are finding certain aspects of Maths difficult by helping with in class work and your own mini lessons designed in conjunction with the head of department.
This amazing secondary school is located within the Wolverhampton area. The school is in close proximity to local transport links and boasts a large car park that is ideal for commuters. The Maths department in this school have gone through various staffing changes within recent years in order to fine tune the department to make it the most effective it can possibly be. The progress 8 scores of the school are generally improving with Maths being an area that needs the most improvements but the school are confident they are heading in the right direction.
