Your new companyOur client is currently introducing a dedicated Security Operations Centre (SOC) to manage and monitor their new IT infrastructure, where you will be using a combination of their own distributed product set and other leading industry security tools to build the SOC.
Your new roleYou'll be the first point of contact for all internal security incidents, reacting quickly to identify and contain breaches on internal networks.
You'll be providing 1st line telephone, e-mail and ticket routing services, providing initial analysis and make security event determinations on any alarm severity, planning the escalation and response routing.
What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will have ideally experience in a services environment, and have excellent troubleshooting and incident resolution skills or be a recent graduate with a relevant security degree (2:1 minimum).
Technical skills:
- SIEM/SOAR Tools - TCP/IP
- WatchGuard Firewalls
- Juniper Network products
- Barracuda or other web filter products
