What will you be doing?

  • Junior HRBP role is responsible for tactical HR support for specific business functions. The role leads general HR activities and project implementation, focusing on people management capability and employee lifecycle. The role aims to bridge the gap between HR Business Partners and People Services Team, in order to support building a strong People Team identity and credibility in the business.
  • Collaborate with and coach people managers to support the employee lifecycle (i.e. hiring, onboarding, performance management, engagement, conduct management, succession planning, learning and development)
  • Support onboarding and development of people managers and support and coach people managers in structuring their teams and forecasting hiring needs
  • Work with people managers to set KPIs, objectives and targets for their teams - lead quarterly performance calibration process with key stakeholders; and lead action points following the calibration sessions. Review, analyse and present individual and sub-functional performance trends to support driving high performance culture
  • Coach the managers through conduct and complaint management process, ensuring minimum risk to the business and providing commercial advice when applicable
  • Monitor employee absence levels and work with managers to proactively address high absence level cases and trends
  • Work with people managers to ensure our culture principles and competencies are demonstrated and applied within sub-functions
  • Drive and support implementation of business wide people projects led by HR Business Partners or Director of Talent, such as quality of hire, onboarding and performance management
