Junior Clinical Nurse Specialist - Urology

The opportunity has arisen for a Uro-Oncology Nurse to join us to provide support, patient education and advice to patients with a wide variety of Urology cancers, from diagnosis, through treatment and follow-up.
The role, which is based in Sutton and focusing on Prostate Cancer, includes providing nursing support and advice for wards and colleagues. This post is fixed term for a year for maternity leave cover.
You should have experience at Band 6 or 7 in the field of Urology cancers. You will have an oncology qualification or a qualification within the specialty.
You should also have excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner, be able to prioritise and organise your workload and work under pressure.
You will be expected to work autonomously in both outpatient and inpatient settings and also as part of the nursing and multi-disciplinary teams.
